A Brief History of Beitang

This is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of truth.
The predecessor of Atlanta Chinese Christian Church North (ACCCN) originated from the Atlanta Chinese Christian Church (ACCC) located in Tucker, fifteen miles away. Since the 1990s, a large number of Chinese immigrants have moved into the greater Atlanta metropolitan area, particularly the northeastern suburbs of Atlanta. The number of believers entering the church also increased relatively. For the sake of spreading the gospel widely, in 1998, church leaders began to pray, ponder, and plan for establishing a new church in the northeastern suburbs.
The Atlanta Chinese Christian Church North Campus was born on September 3, 2000, starting with its first Sunday service at the rented Chinese Cultural School located at 4350 Peachtree Industrial Blvd., Suite 400, Norcross. It has since gone through the land purchase (10/30/2001) and groundbreaking for building construction (7/13/2004), moving into the current new sanctuary on August 7, 2005. Throughout this journey, there have been many miraculous leadings, all filled with God's abundant grace. May every brother, sister, and friend who enters the North Campus thank God with reverence!
Beitang is the home of God, the church of the living God, with Jesus Christ as the head of the church. It is a non-denominational evangelical church. It is Bible-based, preaching the truth of the gospel, with evangelism and discipleship training as its vision, and united in building up God's glorious church. The church offers Chinese worship, English worship, Chinese and English Sunday School, youth fellowship, children's worship, and children's Sunday School to meet the needs of different ages and language groups.
The original six acres of land acquired for development, due to the continuous increase in the number of people, made parking spaces increasingly scarce. By a miraculous leading, we had the opportunity to purchase the adjacent four acres, and in October 2015, we officially received permission to expand the parking lot. The God we believe in is a God who is never late and never makes mistakes, an all-powerful God!
From the very beginning, Beiting has established fellowship groups as the fundamental structure of the church, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to be cared for, discipled, and to serve. Currently, Beiting has over thirty fellowship groups, and we welcome you to join one and make it your spiritual home, growing together in Christ. May God bless you and your family!
