The Atlanta Chinese Christian Church began in the late ’60s as a Bible study group at Georgia Tech. In 1977, the group was registered as the Atlanta Christian Fellowship (ACF). By God's grace and through the hard work of many Christians, the Church grew during the last thirty-some years.

In recent years, a growing number of Chinese immigrants have settled in Atlanta. Specifically, the Johns Creek and Duluth areas have become new hubs for the Chinese community. To spread the Gospel to these new immigrants, ACCC has established numerous fellowship cell groups. article source. In 1989, the first cell group was formed, and it rapidly subdivided into nine cell groups named after the nine fruits of the Spirit: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control. In March 1998, the church formed a Church Planting Committee, and soon the project began.

Atlanta Chinese Christian Church North (ACCCN) was established to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to serve the Chinese community in North Atlanta. At the same time, it helped alleviate overcrowding at our parent church. In August 1999, we began a series of meetings to share our vision and needs and to start prayerful planning for the church. On September 3, 2000, the new church, ACCCN, was established, using a rented school building. During the following year, we purchased a six-acre lot with plans to begin construction of a new church building in late 2003.
