In the midst of busy lives, you are welcome to take a brief pause at the North Hall's "Gospel Tea Party." Let's watch the "Chinese Inspiration Course," which combines street interviews, personal stories, and world scenery. Let's discuss some meaningful and interesting questions and hear bold answers: Why are you happy? What would you do if you only had 24 hours left in your life? If there were a God, what would you ask Him? In these courses, we will listen to basketball stars, scientists, and film and television celebrities share their hearts openly, and together explore life's big questions: Is this all there is to life? Why am I not satisfied? Who is Jesus? Through the open questions and relaxed conversations at the "Gospel Tea Party," we hope to become friends who explore life together, seek the meaning of life together, find lasting peace together, and experience unexpected joy together.
101 Baptism Class / The Path to Eternal Life – This is Salvation

This class will use "The Way to Eternal Life – This is Salvation" as its teaching material. This course will help believers discover the true meaning of the Christian faith from the Bible, understand God's plan of salvation and the assurance of personal eternal life, and know God's basic expectations of Christians. It will also help believers have a firm grasp on salvation, build a close relationship with God, and desire spiritual growth.
Those preparing for baptism in Spring 2026 must attend the Winter baptismal class.
104 The Path of Eternal Life - This is the Truth
-Required Course / Course Selection Suggestion: For brothers and sisters who have completed the baptism class or have never attended this class before.
God is the source of all knowledge and the God of truth. His revelation throughout history is consistent and interconnected, conveying to humanity the greatest theme through the Old and New Testaments of the Bible – “God's plan to redeem mankind.” The most important meaning of a person's life is to know God, have a part in Him, glorify Him, and enjoy Him! The greatest promise in the world is – “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
This course, structured according to “Foundational Theology of Salvation,” helps every Christian understand the foundations of their faith more clearly, recognize God's attributes, and thereby gradually manifest God's character in their lives, reaching the full stature of Jesus Christ. It helps us understand God's plan of salvation and His will for His children, so that we may have the mind of Christ in all things, seek His will, work and walk with God, and please Him. This course inspires us to live more godly lives during our time on earth, eagerly awaiting the day of His return!
204 Introduction to the New Testament (Part 2)

The New Testament is the essence of the new covenant revealed by God through Jesus Christ and his disciples. It contains twenty-seven books written by nine authors under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the latter part of the Bible, corresponding to the theme of the previous covenant (the Old Testament), which is Christ the Messiah and God's salvation.
This course will be completed over the fall and winter semesters. It will provide a comprehensive overview of the background, purpose, content, and theological study of each book in the New Testament, aiming to help students gain a general understanding of the New Testament books for future in-depth study.
301 Church History (Part 2)
-Required Course/Course Selection Suggestion: For brothers and sisters who have already taken the Introduction to the Old and New Testaments.
The Bible is God's revelation within history; God's church is established and grows within history. Our Savior came into the world within history; the same Savior will come again in future history. The doctrines we uphold are formed within history; the sacraments we follow are established within history; the many beautiful hymns are composed within history; the Gospel is spread to all nations and peoples within history. The Bible teaches us in many places to learn from and pay attention to history—to remember the ancient times (Deuteronomy 32:7), to seek the ancient ways (Jeremiah 6:16), to hold fast to the traditions we have received (2 Thessalonians 2:15), to remember and emulate those who once guided us and preached God's word to us, and to be mindful of their fate (Hebrews 13:7). No wonder John Fox, the famous 16th-century English Reformer and author of *The History of Martyrs*, said: "History is the witness of the times, the light of truth, the life of memory, the teacher of life… Without knowledge of history, our lives are blind, and we easily fall into the mire of various errors."
The Church History course lasts for two semesters. We hope that within the six-month course, we will not only have a broad overview of two thousand years of church history, but also a deeper analysis of important figures and events. May our generation of Christians not be ignorant observers or bystanders of church history, but rather, in God's hands, become the inheritors and writers of history.
409 1 Samuel

1 Samuel is a book of Old Testament history that recounts Israel's transition from a tribal confederation led by judges to a unified monarchy. The book centers on the prophet Samuel, Israel's first king Saul, and the future king David.
The book begins with Samuel's calling to be a prophet, judge, and priest over all Israel. When the Israelites demanded a king, God instructed Samuel to anoint Saul. After Saul was rejected for disobeying God's will, Samuel anointed David, a shepherd boy chosen by God, as the true king. The latter half of the book recounts the conflict between Saul and David. Despite facing Saul's persecution, David continued to respect Saul's position as God's anointed. The book concludes with Saul's death in battle, paving the way for David to rule Israel.
Key themes include the necessity of obeying God; emphasizing that obedience is better than sacrifice, and that Jehovah values the heart over outward appearance; it also teaches us the qualities of a true leader, and God's supreme sovereignty—Jehovah God eternally governs nations, kings, and history.
302 Mission and Me

Understand God through Missional Theology, learn about God's actions through the history of missions, and understand a more abundant life through the stories of missionaries. Introduce North Church's internal and external mission ministries, encourage brothers and sisters to participate more in the expansion of God's kingdom, fulfill the Great Commission and the cultural mandate, and build a mission-oriented church together.
814 Christian Workplace Ministry

The workplace is one of the important places where Christians' new life is forged and renewed, and it is a necessary stage in many Christians' lives. God calls many Christians to enter the workplace, to be salt and light, to bear witness to Christ, and to serve this generation.
The church focuses on educating Christians about church life and ministry, nurturing believers' spiritual lives, and teaching about family life and raising children. It equips believers for missions and evangelism, but rarely guides them on how to serve in the workplace and glorify God. Many believers live lives where their work is not integrated with their faith, leading them to be called "Sunday Christians." Deep down, they must ask: Why should I work? For whom do I work? What is a biblical perspective on work and work ethic? How can I live out my true faith in the workplace to glorify God, receive His blessings, and bless others? What biblical teachings and practical skills for life and work can help Christians honor God and benefit others in the workplace?
"Christian Ministry in the Workplace" will help participants understand God's wonderful plan for their lives by establishing a correct view of work, building character in the workplace, becoming messengers of the gospel in their careers, and facing the challenges and opportunities of entrepreneurship. It will also teach them how to balance work, family, and church ministry, and equip them with soft skills for the workplace, such as effective communication, conflict resolution, facing temptation, and building networks and teams. Through practical testimonies and sharing, it will help participants effectively serve the Lord who serves the world, as they serve the Lord in heaven, bringing glory to God and benefiting people. We look forward to Christians serving in the workplace transforming from "Thank God It's Friday" to "Thank God It's Monday," living a life of worship where work and faith are united.
